Congrats Keith and to your Sox for that Series. Congrats to the Cards and you too Bob. Although the Cards didn't show up for the World Series, they had a hell of a year otherwise. Now it will be interesting to see how th eoff season goes. The Cards should pretty much look the same, but Boston is about to get turned upside down. Its going to be similar for my Angels. Rumor has it that we are going after Johnson and Nomar this off season. I will sh*t myself if pedro goes to New York. That would be worse than when Clemens did it. At least Clemens went to Toronto first before stabbing the Red Sox in the back. What do you think Keith. Wheres Pedro heading?

the new ownership is pretty frugal, Pedro will probably go to the highest bidder, sox will try for pedro, lowe and variteck. but, if they get outrageous offers elsewhere the sox won't match.
The owners aren't cheap and will give decent offers so hopefully a couple hang around or we pick up randy johnson
Look for New york to grab beltran from houston immediately.

Beltran wants to goto the Cubs. I know New York will try and grab him, but he has said publically that he want to goto Chicago. I would love to see Beltran with my Cubbies, but it will be hard to compete with Steinbrenner in the cash department. We have a 103 year old curse to get over, not some wimpy 86 year old one. I also hope my Angels get Johnson. I'm not sure about Lowe returning to Boston. He raised his market value by many millions by the way he pitched in the post season. Boston may not be willing to match an offer for him and keep Pedro. It may come down to one or the other.

I didn't know that, i was down on boylston st. It was a good scene. Those duck boats are tall so you can see from anywhere we were pretty close and all was well till the college girls started screaming for certain red sox, the high pitched screams made the baby scared.
