Synergetic Technologies Inc. Expands Ad Systems Video Insertion Technology into the Hotel Industry in Canada and the United States; Potential Revenues Could Exceed $60,000 Per Month Once Fully Implemented
SALT LAKE CITY, May 23, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Synergetic Technologies Inc (Pink Sheets: SYGG), a provider of Digital Video Ad Insertion Technology, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Ad System Inc. has entered into an agreement with Hotel Movie Network Inc. and Integen Technologies Inc. (www.premiervision.ca) to install Ad Systems 8 channel digital ad insertion system in selected hotels in North America. The agreement consists of two unique revenue models in addition to the traditional ad sales model, a "per inquiry" and an online mall model, that can create a consistent inflow of revenue once a guest purchases. The "per inquiry" model is where the cost of commercial airtime is based on the amount of leads the media outlet guarantees it can provide. The "online mall" model extends the advertising revenue agreements outside the hotel and into the travelers' homes and offices via a percentage of revenue share agreement. Commissions are paid for products ordered through their system or originating from the Web address or 800 numbers of their online mall.
Bob Hall, chairman of Synergetic Technologies Inc., said, "These two companies' 12,000-plus room base can effectively deliver 20,000 commercials to more than 100,000 travelers per month. The company anticipates realizing revenues in excess of $60,000 per month from the sale of airtime in the hotels once the ad insertion system is fully deployed. The addition of these two new revenue sources provides Synergetic Technologies Inc. the foundation of its new model of creating recurring revenue streams."
