$5 pre split should still trade for 50cents to a $1.

It could and I usually play most of these round ups but I am gonna pass this time. good luck!
I only did it in my Zecco account since the there is no transaction fee. BTW Zecco will start charging $4/trade in January 2008.
I hope this means that my QBID shares I bought 3 years ago when I was a newb can be sold now. Would love to see a bid so I can take the tax loss!

Yeah to bad about zecco but $4 ain't so pricey; smart move by em though, they got their name out there and got a lot of new acct's. I opened a BOA acct. recently, free trades if you meet the criteria of $25k; they have something really weird for otc and pink trades called a SafePass " you receive a 6-digit, one-time-use security code from a SafePass Card you carry with you. Each security code expires as soon as it's used." personally I 'd prefer not to use it cuz it's just one more step added to the buying process, but they are telling me it is required in order to trade them.

NOTE: knowing Mag, this is an accurate cut n' paste. Perhaps a minor point, but this phrase & pre-split holders of less than 100 shs will not be effected by split.could be intrepreted as "will not be serviced." iow, it should read "will not be affected" ... If legal types get involved, might lose all shares...
Also, shout out to Bilgert: Does the Zecco change apply to new accounts opened *after* Jan 2008? Or to all accounts? iow, is there a "grandfather clause" for pre-2008 accounts?

Interesting interpretation of language Tex. I'll let you know, because I bought 99 shares in one account (zecco) and 101 in another (lowtrades); I considered it an exercise. I don't expect to make much (if anything) on this deal.
Regarding the grandfather clause, the answer is no. Actually, my understanding is that zecco will now start charging transaction fees for new accounts opened after September 1st. Members who signed up prior to 9/1/07 will have free trades until the end of the year.
Honestly $4 isn't too bad for a back up account. I've been pretty please with what they offer, even if the interface is slightly ghetto.
