AMCG is in a rapid growing market!!!

The mobile phone gaming sector, as one of the key revenue earners in China's mobile value-added services market, provides online or down-loadable games that allow mobile device users to play against the game or to engage other users via their mobile handsets. These types of applications represent a lucrative and fast-growing sector within China’s rapidly evolving telecommunications industry.
With the growing demand for new content boosted by the 3G era in China, it is estimated that the Chinese mobile phone game market sales will reach RMB 4.2 billion in 2011 with a staggering annual growth rate of 45.54%. The substantial growth is driven by the unique Chinese marketplace where mobile phone users have a pent up demand for leisure entertainment, commercial application of the new 3G network, and quick development of mobile phone multiplayer games.

Amico Expects to Distribute 2.5D DEMO in March 2010
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Mar 16, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Amico Games Corp. /quotes/comstock/11k!amcg (AMCG 0.53, +0.01, +1.92%) , an information technology company specializing in developing and operating mobile phone multiplayer networked games, today announces that it will distribute 2.5D ("Dimension") DEMO in March 2010, which will upgrade the 2D scenario mode of the Company's cellphone games to be 2.5D scenario mode with better in-game art performance and interactivity.

The 2.5D scenario mode could be regarded as kind of hypocritical 3D mode, which introduce 3D techniques to produce 2D scenario mode in cellphone games, thus imitating the game scenarios in PC games. The 2.5D scenario mode will take advantages of both 2D and 3D technologies by utilizing the degree of freedom and textural quality of 3D technologies, as well as utilize 2D graphics to mold cartoon game characters. Therefore, the 2.5D scenario mode has superiority competiveness in developing cellphone game. Currently, other Chinese cellphone game developers are still developing cellphone games by utilizing 2D technologies.

"We didn't find any other Chinese competitors to utilize 3D techniques into developing cellphone game currently. We are the first Chinese cellphone game developer to introduce the concept of '2.5D' in developing cellphone games," Mr. Peter Liu thus commented, Amico's President and CEO, "We will be the first cellphone game developer to introduce 2.5D cellphone game scenario mode in China once we update our game scenarios in next month, which will greatly improve our competitive strengths in the market. Our R&D team has completed key components of 2.5D DEMO and put into trial operations in our testing servers. I do believe that our innovative enhancement in our game scenario mode will provide better game experience for our game players and improve our competitive over other competitors."

AMCG NEWS:Amico Games Corp. Commences Development of New JAVA(TM) Game "Journey to the West Online II"
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Mar 18, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Amico Games Corp. /quotes/comstock/11k!amcg (AMCG 0.61, +0.08, +14.15%) , an information technology company specializing in developing and operating mobile phone multiplayer networked games, today announces that the Company has commenced development of a new JAVA(TM) mobile phone game, Journey to the West Online II. Preliminary work began in October 2009 and the finished product launch is estimated to be in September of 2010 with a target of attracting 3,000,000 new users within the following 12 months.

Journey to the West Online II is a turn-based role-playing mobile phone game, which is different from the previous version of Journey to the West Online in its 3D graphic techniques and enhanced game playing environment. Amico will primarily distribute this release by itself instead of a co-operative release through 3rd party distributor channels; potentially increasing the company's profit margins. The management of Amico estimates that 3,000,000 new users will subscribe to Journey to the West Online II with potential revenue generated at over RMB18,000,000 within 12 months after launch.

To the right are some in-game graphic scenario pictures in Journey to the West Online II.

"Our R&D team will utilize advanced 3D graphic techniques to develop enhanced, rich gaming scenarios in Journey to the West Online II. This type of graphic environment looks more similar to PC online games and is a great improvement compared to all other games offered in the mobile gaming sector," stated by Mr. Peter Liu, Amico's President and CEO, "Furthermore, we are working on additional enhancements and user interactions to attract and retain game players with Journey to the West Online II. Once the game is ready, Amico will assume the distribution of the game through our own operating team. This will reduce our reliance on 3rd party distributors and should generate additional revenues by reducing the revenue split to distributors. I believe that our proven track record of game development and operation expertise will be evident in the success of the new game."
