Elysium Internet (OTCPK: EYSM) repeated its upward trend and pushed forward for a confident 51.49% gain which included about a 10% gap up in price.


This could strengthen my argument that traders should be looking long and hard at EYSM since the upside could be tremendous.

We all know that stocks that trade in the 3.5 cent range have the potential to become blockbuster profit opportunities.

In fact, the last stock that I recall recommending to members in this range shot up to over 10 cents for a solid gain of over 250% within 5 days.

And EYSM reminds me very much of that symbol so keep your eyes peeled to it over the course of the next 5-7 trading sessions.

I don't profile nearly as many pink sheet stocks as I used to so there needed to be something quite exceptional to encourage me to introduce it to everyone.

Seeing how I was not going to introduce another symbol before 2010, I must say that I'm very excited about the gains I expect traders to book before Christmas!

Strategic Initiatives Poised for the Next 12 months:

Elysium will change its name to “TheDirectory.com, Inc.” to more
accurately reflect its new performance based business model. The name
change will correspond with the launch of a new local professional search
engine, initially targeting the health care niche under the brand
TheDirectory.com.

– Podiatrists (dot) com will complete the change of its business model to a performance based local model that guarantees customer value as no other
Company can.

– Elysium will launch six additional one word niche professional
directories during 2010. All of the new online destinations will operate
under the new performance based directory model.

– Elysium expects to partner with or acquire several key dot com and dot
net Internet domains to build new niche directories. The company is
currently in talks with several individuals and Companies regarding
potential deals. New directories will be monetized immediately under the
new model.

– Based on reoccurring numbers and expected new business, Elysium
expects its operations to turn cash-flow positive during first quarter of
2010.

– Elysium plans to resume fully reporting status based on its positive
cash flow during 2010. The Company would then require one year of filings
to seek an OTCBB listing.

Consisting of 77.2 million people, baby boomers — people born between 1946 and 1964 — represent a prized, yet often misunderstood, demographic for online marketers. In fact, they represent the largest group within the U.S. Internet population at 56.7 million users, a full 29.4 percent of all Internet users. So why is there such confusion about how to effectively market to them? A recent report from the online market research firm eMarketer, Boomers Online: Attitude Is Everything, addresses this issue.

The first hurdle for online marketers targeting boomers is the disparity in age that can exist within the group. This has led many marketers to divide the group into two distinct segments: older boomers (those born between 1946 and 1954) and younger boomers (those born between 1955 and 1964). Also, boomers' online behavior typically varies from that of most Internet users. They view the Internet as a tool or resource to help them accomplish things — not a lifestyle or source of entertainment the way their younger counterparts treat it.

Telling statistics
Here are some relevant statistics from eMarketer's report that online marketers should know about the baby boomer generation:

•74 percent use the Internet at least once a month;
•younger boomers outnumber older boomers online 35.3 million to 21.4 million;
•more boomer women are Internet users than boomer men;
•21 percent of boomers report not having Internet access;
•62 percent of households headed by someone age 50 or older had annual incomes of $75,000 or more, nearly 5 percent higher than in 2004;
•61 percent said it doesn't pay to be loyal to one brand, especially in today's marketplace;
•68 percent of baby boomer women trust recommendations and rated information they heard in conversations as credible; and
•further underscoring these findings, in a recent survey from the public relations firm Edelman, 54 percent of baby boomers said the advertising industry misrepresents and neglects them, especially online, where 72.5 percent of younger boomers and 83.2 percent of older boomers said online advertising focused on younger age groups."
