You know, I bought 200,000 shares of this at .0003 back in July for $53 and had all but forgotten about it. Just sitting there on the shelf, gathering dust. Now I wish I had spent more. But what the heck ... my $53 is now worth $280 and I see no reason what so ever to sell at this point. Let it gather some more dust ... maybe till it hits .10 ... just think about that one. Turning $53 into $20,000. IP: Logged |

And one other stock (Off topic ... sorry) but I am still holding 200,000 shares of AFRR. Another dust gatherer. I still believe in the company. Looking for a LONG hold. Maybe 2 years or more. But again, what the heck. Better to let it sit than sell now and lose. And it WILL come back and WILL be worth some money ... one of these years. IP: Logged |

That's great, except for the date shows July 8th 2003. Why hasn't this taken off by now if that scenerio is still in the works? Certainly the people within Time Warner would know about it by now. dz / quote: IP: Logged |

That's right people. This is not a new plan. Time Warner has been involved for a while now. It looked to take off a couple months back and everyone jumped on and started counting. Ended up with a lot of bagholders out there. I personally never put more than 10% of my portfolio into any one stock. I am sure that many of you have put the whole bankroll on this pony. Remember, **** happens, jockey falls off horse on backturn, horse pulls up lame, trainer caught with syringe and big bottle of "nytro" amphedimine....theres always a multitude of things that can cause the "sure" thing to fall apart. Take advantage of possible gap Monday and recoup at least a portion of your original committment. Just "Doggone" good advice. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Congratulations to all who have taken advantage of this stock this Spring. I've seen many mixed emotions from these threads, from elation to sorrow, from celebration to mob forming. It's been fun, and I still feel good (very good) things are going to happen here. Good Luck To All. Dar ------------------

A little straight information for all, direct from the SEC website. Information retreived by person or persons from direct conversations with officers of the corporation and/or their assigns can be easily interpeted as illegal insider trading. to wit.... Illegal insider trading refers generally to buying or selling a security, in breach of a fiduciary duty or other relationship of trust and confidence, while in possession of material, nonpublic information about the security. Insider trading violations may also include "tipping" such information, securities trading by the person "tipped," and securities trading by those who misappropriate such information. Examples of insider trading cases that have been brought by the SEC are cases against: * Corporate officers, directors, and employees who traded the corporation's securities after learning of significant, confidential corporate developments; * Friends, business associates, family members, and other "tippees" of such officers, directors, and employees, who traded the securities after receiving such information; * Employees of law, banking, brokerage and printing firms who were given such information to provide services to the corporation whose securities they traded; * Government employees who learned of such information because of their employment by the government; and * Other persons who misappropriated, and took advantage of, confidential information from their employers. Because insider trading undermines investor confidence in the fairness and integrity of the securities markets, the SEC has treated the detection and prosecution of insider trading violations as one of its enforcement priorities. The SEC adopted new Rules 10b5-1 and 10b5-2 to resolve two insider trading issues where the courts have disagreed. Rule 10b5-1 provides that a person trades on the basis of material nonpublic information if a trader is "aware" of the material nonpublic information when making the purchase or sale. The rule also sets forth several affirmative defenses or exceptions to liability. The rule permits persons to trade in certain specified circumstances where it is clear that the information they are aware of is not a factor in the decision to trade, such as pursuant to a pre-existing plan, contract, or instruction that was made in good faith. Rule 10b5-2 clarifies how the misappropriation theory applies to certain non-business relationships. This rule provides that a person receiving confidential information under circumstances specified in the rule would owe a duty of trust or confidence and thus could be liable under the misappropriation theory. For more information about insider trading, please read Insider Trading—A U.S. Perspective, a speech by staff of the SEC. http://www.sec.gov/answers/insider.htm

Diane you might want to read the post from Dragon regarding insider trading. IN that if what you are saying is true that you are being flown down to see Frank and finding out all this info that you say you are going to get. You may be seriously jeopardizing the company if you release any information that is handed to you with out a PR. If you are in fact meeting with Frank and you are indeed being brought down there on QBIDS dime, then you are basically a employee of the company and could be in serious violation of insider trading laws. please consider this very closely before you start releasing information. If you are posting these things and they are not true, then you have some other problems coming your way. Either way I know for a fact that there are people looking in to your past posts and and highly scrutinizing and check some of these facts out. IP: Logged |
