Hi,

On an etrade FAQ, I saw this:

Avoid a day trading margin call by liquidating all my positions by the end of the day

Below says this:

If you exceed your day trading purchasing power, you will be subject to a day trading margin call, even if you have liquidated all of your positions by the end of the day.

Now is that talking about the 4 trades/5 day business period, or are they talking about a certain amount of funds?

Any help would be appreciated, so I will be able to day trade tomorrow, but I just want to make it clear.

Thank you

funds, not frequency

So, if I have 25,000. Can I only trade 100,000 in one day?

At any given time yes, it'll reset as you sell.
