Originally posted by paulbest: [QB] Today being a holiday, a good time to clean house, so eliminated half my symbols from the yahoo watch list. Quite a few were ones given as picks on this site. I've learned , one needs a filtering. Take only the stocks that fall within YOUR SET PREFERENCES. 1) Where is the office loacted? 2) amont of shars? 3) Web site? 4) did you call the home office? Anyone home? Recording machine/answering service? 5) How s the name of the co sound to your eras? not too original/sort of "funky"? 6) Do they actually have something of value to offer/actual product/actual serive? These are just a few of the basic parimeters that may qualify if a given stock makes it TO YOUR WATCH LIST. If the stock even fails in one of the above, its very doubtful it will make it to my watch list. Please no garbage. I'm not going to stoop so low as to dig through garbage in hopes of finding anything of value. if I ignored it, and everyone here gets all excited that the stock went up 1000%. And the stock had like 45 pages of posts. Great for them. They will celebrate, but I won't frown. My loss, but was my decision not to get involved. CARDINAL RULE FOR NEWBIES. Never allow every stock to make it to your watch list. I believe, within any given month, 5 main top picks, 5 other's as on less interest. Watch how these 10 react on volume, news. Look at the canlde chart. Study one candle cahrt on one stock for an entire day. Look at short and long candle charts. Look at vol spikes. How did it affect it. PYPR has already had its run, there's no reason to get in on "the bounce". The bounce is gone and done with http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=pypr Look at this chart The run began in the week of Sept 18-26, you could also enter a few days later, but IDEALLY, the 18-26 was THE BEST OPPORTUNITY. Now she rose nice and slowly and CONSISTENTLY. Very rare does it happen this way with micro pinks, or any stock for than matter. Now look at what happened first week of Oct, THE ADJUSTMENT/CORRECTION/PULLBACK/TAKING PROFITS...Fine nad dandy...it snot over. Here you also take profits along with everyone else and then you jump back in ON THE BOUNCE Week Oct 9-16. Now last week, The S-t-o-c-k-d-o-c-t-o-r started taking his profits and began selling very large quantities of the stock ,and absoluetly flooded the maket. I bought just before it started the free fall, and actually saw it begin. I said to myself "Look at this, its gonna free fall" which it did I bought in at .0065 and sold next day after the free fall began for .005, it recoup back to .0065 , but I got nervous and just took my losses. Lost $500, on a $2K investment. Lesson learned was worth much much more than $500. In fact it was simply priceless. I discovered candle charts only days prior to buying PYPR. PYPR is not in a "bounce stage". Its what I call "a done deal". As the S-t-o-c-k-d-o-c-t-o-r said on his web, the email is posted on the PYPR topic. "Now lets go out and find our next 200% gainer" He's got $$$$, and when he starts buying in, the stock tends to get buying pressure, the MM's HAVE TO EVENTUALLY raise the floor. Others follow him, and more money is pumped in, thus the SD actaully creates his own profits. HOWEVER the stock must have something good going for it. Now that the SD has pulled his money out, PYPR is a done deal/ Sure it may some spikes, but not a clean beautiful ride up. Thats history. Move on. Never ever fall in love with any stock. You made your money, now go find the next PYPR. btw go to yahoo, and look at the 5 day chart YUCKKK! A classic death cycle. Sad. Here's where folks start losing big money. This is THE CLASSIC CHART. Print it out, lock it in memory. [/QB]
