i see many posts on this board referring to 'MMs' and am wondering what the terminology means. any other clarifcations of terminology/abbreviations used on these boards would be appreciated. G

The S.E.C defines market manipulation as intentional conduct designed to deceive investors by controlling or artificially affecting the market for a security. Manipulation can involve a number of techniques to affect the supply of, or demand for, a stock, including spreading false or misleading information about a company to create a false or deceptive picture of the demand for a security.

do you mean Market manipulation or Market Makers? not that i see a difference in either/or lol jk .. but anyways two MM's .. which one you mean? ... when i see people post MM's it means Market Makers to me..
