iam slowly understanding how to use level 2 quotes but i have 2 questions.

1) does it matter which MM's are on ask or bid, for instance like NITE(more " powerful" MM) on BID or ask. Would this affect anything?

2)SPEA, im sure many you noticed that it ran like crazy this week. i looked up level 2 for this and it showed both ask and bid were very thin. 1 MM each on diffrent price levels for both ask and bid. Yet this stock managed to go up 4000%+, and i saw more buys coming in on the timesales window then sells. So if iam right, does this mean that ,to an extent ,with a weak ask and weak bid, wouldnt neccesary make the stock stay steady, it would depend on the # buyers to make it go up.. correct?
