I have Tradingdirect as my broker and I was thinking about taking advantage of their ACH program where I would give them authorization to be able to deposit funds to my bank account and vice versa. I am pretty new at trading and was wondering if anybody already has this with their borker and what they think of it (reliable...?). And is it safe?
ps -- not meant to be an advertisment just looking for some guidence
Thanks

I am with Ameritrade and I have it set up to transfer funds from my money market account to them, as my account with them is an IRA I am not set up for them to send money back to me. This is the fastest way to get your money into you trading account ( unless they are in your area and you can go to your broker and deposit) to answer you question I do believe its safe.

I have a mytrack account and they use E-check which takes about 3 days. I also have a tradingdirect account and I did signn up for the ACH program but after reading it over, I just sent them a check it seemed simplier.
