Anyone who uses freetrade! Can you tell me if you can buy mutual funds through Freetrade? If you can, I assume mutual fund investments goes to your $5000 account minimum. Can anyone confirm?

Freetrade offers equity buys, sells, short sells, buys to cover, and bulletin board/over-the-counter/pink sheet orders, as well as mutual funds and options.

We only accept Individual, Joint, and Trust accounts. We do not accept other account types such as IRA, or corporate accounts.

Thank you Bob. I was sure I read it, but just wanted to know someone actually used them for mutual funds. I'm sure someone has, but nothing wrong with asking. Thanks again.

Yeah I'm with ameritrade right now.....but at those commissions I could afford to pay the 15 a month for streamer and level 2 and still be much better off than how much I pay now. 22 a trade assuming you open and close in one lot adds up over time.
