Jeremy	posted If you like boks, a few I'd recommend are: Essential Technical Analysis - by: Leigh Stevens and Swing Trading - by: Jon Markman The first book is great for your first in-depth taste of T/A and why it is so important. It will teach you many different types of charts, how to spot trends, choose entry and exit points, and much more. The swing trading book is geared towards someone who holds stocks for a 1 week to few month period (swing trades). It will walk you through some real people and how they use technical analysis to determine their picks, as well as show you plenty of chart reversal patterns and such.
