Hi everybody,
i am seeking an advise on good source of web or book that would help me getting started with technical analysis as i am also new to the stocks. reading the board messages i noticed that there are many knowledgable and experienced people around here that could help us in this matter. thanks and good trading all.

There are several good sites for TA, but I think you'll find the IncredibleCharts site one of the very best, also has a forum where you can join regardless if you subscribe to their service.

If you like boks, a few I'd recommend are:

Essential Technical Analysis - by: Leigh Stevens

and

Swing Trading - by: Jon Markman

The first book is great for your first in-depth taste of T/A and why it is so important. It will teach you many different types of charts, how to spot trends, choose entry and exit points, and much more.

The swing trading book is geared towards someone who holds stocks for a 1 week to few month period (swing trades). It will walk you through some real people and how they use technical analysis to determine their picks, as well as show you plenty of chart reversal patterns and such.
