Can anyone explain to me what a short sale restriction is? I know it would be a restriction against shorting but why is it implimented and does it have any affect on share price? How does a company get a restriction? Thanks

Not sure MacSusan, but I'm sure a search of the SEC pages would probably help. Have you seen this article that touches on short selling and the proposed rules ? www.our-street.com/RegSHO.htm
Good luck !!!
