VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 2, 2014-- ProtoKinetix (OTCBB: PKTX) (www.protokinetix.com) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Ms. Susan Woodward, as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Woodward has over twenty-five years’ experience in the accounting and management fields. She has held various positions throughout her career in a variety of industries including health care, the oil and gas industry and public accounting. Her experience includes cash and grant management, budget and financial preparation, data analysis, federal and state reporting, policy and procedure setting and oversight of all accounting functions.
ProtoKinetix Inc. also announces that it has retained the services of Mr. Wallace Boyack, a lawyer practicing in Salt Lake City, Utah since 1981. He practices in the areas of securities law, corporate transactions, business law and litigation, including securities litigation. Mr. Boyack has prior experience working for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as an Enforcement Attorney, Staff Attorney and Financial Analyst. He was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Department of Justice in the State of Utah from 1976 to 1981. Mr. Boyack is called to the bar of the State of Utah.

Effective September 30, 2014, Ian Gregory resigned as a director of ProtoKinetix Inc. The Company would like to thank Mr. Gregory for his service and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
