Delta Mining and Exploration Updates Financials, Status Upgraded on Pinksheets.com
NEW YORK, NY, Oct 01, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Delta Mining & Exploration (PINKSHEETS: DMXC) is pleased to announce that financials for the previous nine months have been completed, and as a result, Pinksheets.com has upgraded Delta's status on their website. All company filings and information can be viewed by going to http://www.pinksheets.com and entering the company symbol, DMXC, where prompted.
Delta will continue to work with Pinksheets.com as the company seeks to update all of its information and eventually become a Current Pinksheets.com company, the highest possible designation.
This is an important step for Delta. First and foremost the company is living up to the promise it made to investors that business will be conducted in a transparent manner. Furthermore, the new status on Pinksheets.com allows the company to attract new investors who previously were either turned away by institutions because of the lack of information or were themselves hesitant.
On a separate note, the company has begun the process of updating the corporate website. As the company continues to make a transformation from diamond exploration to precious metals, it will make sure that the website reflects the new direction that Delta is pursuing.
About Delta Mining and Exploration Corp., http://www.deltamine.com: Delta is a precious metal and mineral exploration company with an extensive portfolio of diamond properties in central Montana, USA. Delta is in the process of finalizing a joint venture agreement for precious metal property in Northern Nevada.
