Major move occuring here on DPDW.
Institional holders are/have accumulated shares and now it is tightly held in a low float (6M shares.)

I am a buyer here and am actually holding some for longer term as this company is true. No dilution period.

Its been about 6 months until i made a serious call and here it is. This will probably go 100-500% in the coming year or two but thats long term. Short term - 25% easy from this point IMO.

Already a thread on this on the Hot stocks board, but I agree 100% with you!

Sorry to talk off topic, but....Hey MillerTime....I also know someone named MillerTime in America's Army Operations (a combat simulator developed by the US Army to help recruit fresh meat for the grinder). I was just wondering if you were also that person? If so, great! I'll tell you who I am if it is indeed you, but if not...sorry to change the topic.

On topic....This stock is a steady long term holder...has been forever...Been in since .55 and am never leaving....the 6 month and 1 year shows steady increase and I am along for the ride on this one! 2003-$50+ per share and on its way back to it!

Moving nicely...shame it doesn't belong on this board...

Unfortunately, Shakerz and bunch of other Hubbers were on this one, so that may be part of the reson it's red today as some of them exit. Not sure of long term potential, but they may have blown the short term.

Yeah appears so...Probably come down to .07 today...but still looks good to hop back on the train at that point...JMO

Well, chalk up another one for MT. At 1.10 right now, well over the 25% threshold. Thanks man.

Yep No problem PC. Good to see you again.

Its been a while since i "called" one, because i didnt really see any that fit the bill. Obviously i have been trading, but much more quicker plays and not more accumulation - sell up to 25%, which these plays are.

How about you? How have you been in this market of ours?

Seriously, congrats to all who made money off this call.

Dont know how many people are still on allstocks, or follow my calls, but i try and make sure they are pretty much an "easy 25%," for the more risk adverse traders.

Congrats again to all

Deep Down Announces Over $30 Million in Flotation Orders
Wednesday October 3, 3:55 pm ET

HOUSTON, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Deep Down, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DPDW - News) announced today that it has secured over $22 million in drilling riser flotation contracts for Matrix Asia Pacific Pty Ltd of Perth, Australia, and expects to close over $8 million in additional contracts within the next couple of weeks.

Deep Down has an exclusive agreement with Matrix to introduce their complete product line to the U.S. Market. These contracts establish Matrix as one of the world's premier suppliers of syntactic foam drilling riser flotation modules. These modules are used to provide buoyancy and reduce the weight of the riser string, thus allowing drilling in deeper depths with less tension.

Matrix is providing their proprietary syntactic foam formulation coupled with a practical, damage resistant module design. Deep Down is working closely with Matrix to optimize the mix of products and services that can be jointly offered to the marketplace. Deep Down is currently acting as an agent and expects to earn over $600,000 in commissions, after expenses, on these orders.

"Although Deep Down will not record the revenue on its financial statements, it is important to note that the $600,000 in commissions is essentially unencumbered by expense and falls to the bottom line as pretax profit. We expect these fees to be collected in various installments over the next 18 months," commented Eugene L. Butler, Deep Down's chief financial officer.

In addition to drilling riser flotation, Matrix offers buoyancy for ROVs, subsea deployment, distributed buoyancy modules and other subsea applications. Matrix also offers a complete range of molded polyurethane products including, bend restrictors, bend stiffeners, VIV suppression strakes, clamping systems, and cable and flowline protection.

Miller, unless you meant that you called it in some other thread, I think you're overstating it somewhat. I remember it being in the .84 range when you made this post.

Not that it wasn't your normal fantastic call, but just wanted to set the record straight.

yeah PC - sorry bout that - i bought 3/4 of my positioned i believe on a friday at .66 the day 1 of the run.
Then DD'd it that weekend and filled the rest on the gapup on the next day up to .80

And yeah, then i thought - hey this is just the type of play that would be good in allstocks. (more of an accumulation and hold for a couple of days.)

But yes, you are correct and i misstated the truth. I believe the ask was in the .84 range when i made my first post here on allstocks.

Well basically here's the deal. In my opinion, MillerTime is a phenomenal picker. Probably the best here at picking his type of play, meaning longer term (meaning a few days or weeks, in general) normally liquid, non-subpenny plays. He picks the kind that you don't start to get nervous if it drops 10% or so, because you can be prety sure it won't fall off a cliff like many "momentum" plays.

While the "call price" itself isn't that important, I had a feeling tha Miller's mis-statement was not intentional, and I kind of gave him a chance to explain himself.

You may not find it important, and it's possible tha no one else will either, but I know that I personally always verify people's claims on any of these boards. For example if I go to IHub and see someone say "Buy XXXX, it's gonna go up 50% like YYYY did when I called it", I will check to see if that really happened on YYYY. 99% of the time their claims are virtually impossible, for a reason such as they quoted the bid as their "call" and the highest ask as the peak, as opposed to what a person could actually have bought and sold for.

When I see someone overstate their prowess, I tend to remember them as a bulsh*tter, and am less likely to believe them in the future.

Like I said, I think Miller is one of the best, but if someone comes to Allstocks for the first time, or has been here for a while but hasn't paid particular attention to his picks and is not familiar with his body of work, and if they are like me, they would see his claim, find his first post, and say "That guy is full of it."

So yeah, you may not care when he first called it, and I may not care, but why not give him a chance to build up credibility with some others. I had a feeling he would respond exactly as he did, as opposed to some people here who will get very defensive about it when I post things like that.

Okay, I probably talked enough.
