Originally posted by Madvillain: [QB] Here is why I think SPZI is a good undervalued microcap. Reasons: 1) They say they already have 2000 customers paying $89/month. The revenues yearly from that are 2000 * $89 * 12 = $2,136,000. I don't know what the rule of thumb in market cap calculations should be, but I'll use a conservative estimate of 5 times yearly revenue. ----- This will be listed in the next quarterly report... this is revenues from Tetrahex. That puts the market cap at over $10 mil... Currently it is under $5 mil based on the OS of 400 mil. That is only from 2000 customers, they are expecting 3000 short term. Can you imagine if SpoozToolz ends up being the best way to trade because it is integrated into Excel and you pay no exchange fees with it. How many customers would want to start using it? I know I'm going to be checking out their demo shortly. 2) If you take a look at the people working for the company... seems like they have the creme de la creme of directors... One of the directors (Tony Hines –Chief Operating Officer of Spooz) was an exec at microsoft during the boom days between 92 and 97... Another guy (Darryl Dennis) helped grow a publicly traded company (Centrack International) "to a $900,000,000 online e-marketplace in less than 18 months". Impressive track record, now while that doesn't mean much, it adds to the long term credibility of this stock. http://www.spooz.com/management.aspx 3) On the ***.com interview that SPZI two days ago, the CEO spoke about potential deals with Ameritrade being a done deal. Basically $89/month allows you to trade using this trade station without paying any exchange fees for the live data feed because it is routed directly through your broker. They also have a deal in the works with OptionsXpress. 4) Fractalz3 is an analyser that is standalone, and it uses chaos theory to predict market fluctuations pretty accurately. A research was conducted and it showed that using Fractalz3 to help trade showed no loss for the client in 6 weeks of trading. Fractalz3 is coming out Oct 16th and is $89/month as well. --- Following posted by Deanotrade on iHub --- This honestly seems like a no brainer: It's a company on the cusp of a transition from a development stage company to a growth stage company. It's a company that is currently priced for failure - after delayed product launches, and an under-the-radar spooztoolz 1.0 launch. It's a company that is sitting on enormous potential - a potentially disruptive technology in the trading industry - and has the caveat that if it is not successful and only sees limited growth, will still bring *********** returns to investors. 5-10x returns if unsuccesful? I can think of a few scenarios, based off of this current 1 cent share price / 4.2 million Market cap and all with an estimated 500 million O/S: a) If Successful This would mean meeting some of the initial goals and sales predictions outlined in the most recent Executive summary: http://www.spooz.com/pdf/ExSumV4September14,2006.pdf _2007_ - Gross Revenue: 8 million (they would likely turn profits at the end of FY07 based off this revenue - and remember, this is thier conservative estimate) - Estimated Market Cap (based on above and growth outlook): ~ 60 million, PPS 0.12 2+ years - Gross Revenue: 58 million (at this point they would likely be valued closer to a standard tech stock, PE of 20 with 60% margins) - Estimated Market Cap: ~ 696 million, PPS 1.392 b) If Unsuccessful This would mean meeting some initial fanfare but not improving much beyond the 2000 fractalz customer base (unconfirmed) _2007_ - Gross Revenue: 6 million (they would likely turn profits at the end of FY07 based off this revenue - and remember, this is thier conservative estimate) - Estimated Market Cap (based on above and growth outlook): ~ 30 million, PPS 0.06 2+ years - Gross Revenue: 10 million (maybe 15 PE on 60% margins) - Estimated Market Cap: ~ 90 million, PPS .18 c) If WILDLY Successful If you have faith that the Spooz team has developed the right product at the right time, and will be disruptive technology then you can get in on the ground floor of a future corporation. _2007_ - Gross Revenue: 30 million (30,000 screens in FY07, but showing that explosive potential yields high speculation ) - Estimated Market Cap: ~ 300 million, PPS 0.60 2+ years - Gross Revenue: 1 billion (the companys goal in the Aug 2006 financial report is 1 million screens.. which can be achived through multiple "Ameritrade" like brokerages and lots of exposure. If this is reached, of course I would expect a PE of higher than 20 with all the hype and much of the OS to be reduced in a buyback... but using a PE of 20 at 60% margins.. ) - Estimated Market Cap: ~ 9 billion, PPS $24 I know a $24 dollar prediction on a $.01 stock sounds like a pipe dream, but if Spooz has done their homework and can reach 1 million screens as their goal states (out of 440 million Excel users worldwide) it's not entirely out of the question. Thanks for your time. [/QB]
