Ltd., a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, and Global Marine Systems Limited, the independent market-leading subsea cable installation and maintenance company, today announced a partnership to jointly develop a new generation of end-to-end submarine networking solutions.

The combination of Huawei's optical solutions and Global Marine's subsea repeaters and submarine engineering will give submarine network developers and operators a strong alternative that does not compromise capability, security or quality.

Oct 04, 2006 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Telecomms network equipment provider Huawei Technologies Co, Ltd (Huawei) and Global Marine Systems Ltd, a subsea cable installation and maintenance company, announced on Tuesday (3 October) a partnership to jointly develop a new generation of submarine networking solutions.

According to the companies, the combination of Huawei's optical solutions and Global Marine's subsea repeaters and submarine engineering will provide submarine network developers and operators with an alternative solution that does not compromise capability, security or quality.

No financial details of the agreement were disclosed.
