I'm pretty much a newbie, but have been following a few pennies like JKRI. Seems like most people forgot about them, but JKRI's financing went through and it looks like UTSI has merged with Jackson Rivers, as was planned:
There's plenty of dilution with it (~275 million at current price [0.008]--is that what others see?), but if the company grows, the dilution will be a lot less. Hopefully, we're at the bottom here. The upside is that if the Machine-to-Machine market takes off like they say, their potential is unlimited. It sounds like they have an experienced group in charge, a good plan, and good potential.
Also, if anybody else is following JKRI, was the financing used for UTSI, or is it being used for other uses (Camvera?, production?).
Opinions?

Actually, I just re-read the terms of the merger. It looks like the shares UTSI got for the merger are NOT convertible UNTIL May 2008. This is great news since the higher the share price at time of conversion, the fewer shares will be introduced into the OS.
The 'new' Jackson Rivers seems to have a lot of highly qualified people and I wouldn't be surprised with huge revenue growth over 2 years time to justify over $0.10/share, maybe much more. Anyway, just my opinion. Any discussion about this would be great. FYI, at a share price of $0.10, that's only 22 million shares diluted compared to the 275 million that I mentioned before (current share price). Remember, 2 years is a lot of time to grow a company. I'm in this for the long term at the very bottom!

Up close to 40% on the day right now at 0.0115. Volume's been pretty pathetic since early March, so I'm hoping there hasn't been too much accumulation below this point to cause too much selling. There'll be plenty of ups and downs, but I'm just hoping for higher highs and higher lows as I'm in this one for the long haul.
