Procom Declares Cash Dividend

IRVINE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/15/05 -- Procom Technology, Inc. (OTC: PRCM) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a dividend payment of $1.13 per share, which will be paid on July 14, 2005, to all shareholders of record as of June 30, 2005.

Right this has been discussed in many threads. The real question is what will the stock be worth after they sell their hot ideas and how much is it going to crash after people get there money or possibly before the 14th. Will one be able to afford to hold the stock.
The other option is to wait not hit the payout but scoop the stock when it reaches a new low in July.

The other thing you could play is people's lack of knowledge on how a dividend works. First of all you will probably have to get in by the end of the day of the 27th to be guaranteed the dividend to allow 3 days for settlement. The other thing is that you can turn around and sell you stock first thing on July 1st and still get the dividend. Alot of people might hold not realizing this until the 14th which means you can still get out at a decent price. I guess all depends on how informed investors are about dividends.

Why would you not buy 1,000 shares of this monday morning if you are guaranteed 1.13 plus the stocks worth....Please explain
