You two must be a lot younger than I. I remember one of those (different body style) many years ago...probably in the 50's.

Wallace, I rode on a Duck Mobile in Cape Cod, MA. Same concept but a slightly different look. That was a half a bus, dressed like a duck and couldn't go over 10 MPH on land or water.
You're right, I wasn't around back then but I'm sure they have updated it since to 50's. And being that the coasts are more populated nowadays, these things might have a chance now. Especially for heavily traffic areas such as the northeast cooridor. So much easier to maneuver then a boat. http://www.aquada.co.uk/
