The X-Change Corporation Acquires 4 Cotton Valley Gas Prospects in Rusk County, Texas

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 11, 2004--The X-Change Corporation (OTCBB: XCHC - News) has successfully negotiated the purchase of a 160-acre lease with 4 multi-pay offset locations to test the Cotton Valley formation at 11,200 feet. The deep Cotton Valley gas play has recently been identified to extend through the area with several discovery wells drilled in the last two years. We expect initial flow rates of between 1,000 to 5,000 MCF/ day with median average reserves of 11.6 BCF.
The X-Change Corporation's wholly owned subsidiary, Kolt Oil & Gas, Inc. will operate the wells with drilling to commence before year-end. The initial development costs of $2.2 million dollars will be raised through private placement and allow attractive tax incentives coupled with high returns on original investment with quick payouts. The acquisition will have significant impact on the company by allowing diversification from shallow oil wells with limited reserve quantities to creating high natural gas reserves of 20 to 40 BCF.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 6, 2004--The X-Change Corporation (OTCBB:XCHC - News) has acquired 75 oil and gas wells from long time Texas Independent Kolt Oil & Gas, Inc. The properties included existing oil & gas reserves with a possible 10,000,000 barrels of oil equivalent on approximately 3,000 acres of leases in the East Texas field in Gregg County, Texas, near the town of White Oak and another 2,000+/- in West Central Texas near the town of Albany.
Several of the wells will be proven up with private investment to determine profitability and future development strategies utilizing new state of the art technologies. Service companies have been notified and workover will begin in November.
