when I funded my account online, I was told it would be five days and I could trade otc stocks. Well, now they say it will be 10 days before the funds are avail.
Meanwhile I traded another regular stock and the funds are clearly in the account.
This is pretty stupid I think
I have since learned you should wire the money in if you want it to be avail. right away.

Simple solution... wire your money in. You can trade non-marginable securities instantly.

yeah, but almost always 10 days for trading penny stocks. same with etrade. security stuff, because i wired mine in but had to wait 10

here is a tip to get by that rule. trade a $5 stock with the newly wired funds sell that stock and buy any OCTBB you want.
once you buy a nasdaq or higher priced stock and then sell your funds are just that YOUR FUNDS...
works for me hope it works for you to beat that 10day rule.

Waveslider - GREAT suggestion. Too bad though, that it costs US $22 that way to use our own money sooner......
