UVCL might run this week because it is cheap, and doing a reversal - its started to move up from it's 52 week low. Technically, the MACD is just crossing over into a bullish reversal and RSI is just under 50.

It's 52 week low was .0056 - about 2 months ago before the last P&D.

I've seen 3 or 4 of these UVCL runs come and go and this one won't be any different. I got in this back in mid 2003 before the huge run up, sold most of it off on the way up to .17 and have sat on a measly 9000 shares since then. Watched every little run come and go thinking this will be the next big one but it never happens. This time will be different though! Anything over .02 and I'm gonna dump the last of them...well maybe. Unless I sense a run up to a dime. Could happen, probably not. Hell, I'll wind up holding these shares the rest of my life.

UVCL is a short term play, and given the current market conditions it would be wise to play UVCL or any other stock over a couple of days maximum. They'r all short term plays nowadays, atleast in my opinion. Trade the run, not the stock if you know what I mean.

looks like a decent stock, will DD it a little. What's the float? thanks

shaggy, I honestly do not know the exact float, but I believe it is in the range of 20-25 mill. There hasnt been any dilution over the past one year, so I believe the float would be the same as it was during the last two runs.

I've played UVCL before and like it, just one observation: Last year when it ran to 17 cents it ran over approx 3-4 days and in March when it ran from approx 0.01 to 0.034 it did so over approx 2 days. During these runs, it traded well throughout the whole day. Point being it's a good stock to trade, but would only suggest it for the short term, day trade or 2 days max. Now if it runs to 17 cents again, then I will be wrong, but that's just my two cents.

did some DD if it helps anyone:
-no current dilution: last bunch of convertible debentures were in May
- Historically it breaks out everytime price candle hits the upper bollinger. Currently the price is at 0.0105 and the upper bollinger is very near at 0.012, so consider 0.012 to be a start of a run point.
- Typically runs for 1-2 days, then comes back down. Runs are characterized by high volume, and jumps in price at the beginning and end of the day.

thanks, another trader whose DD'ing this for tomorrow quoted float as approx 25 mill after the CD's were converted in May. So I guess the approx float figure stands around 25 mill? that's not bad.

The float is almost 81 million. Thats still a low number but no where near as low as the 25-30 million that some have been saying.

upside, thanks for the contribution. As I said in my post, I believe the float was somewhere in 20-25 mill range, but I'm not sure, if you're saying its 80 mill, then fair enough no arguments there. I just hope this runs up a couple of pennies like it has in the past, good enough for me.

stockbuzz, Look a few posts up to my last one at 16:00. The issuer is the company UVCL, at 104 million shares rounded up. Of these 81 million, again rounded up, are non affiliated with the company meaning that insiders hold approx. 25 million shares.

upside, thanks for sharing, I respect your information. I honestly do not know which figure to believe as far as UVCL float is concerned, but I do not believe it matters.
Bottomline is I'm hoping the stock runs up a few pennies, like it has in the past, to near 0.04 or beyond. All I'm looking for is profit, and I believe everyone else is doing the same, I plan to trade this over a couple of days, beyond that, it does not matter what the details are as far as float etc. Stock moves up to 0.03, 0.04, and I'm out.

stockbuzz, You are 100% correct. This stock jumps three or four times a year. .04 might be a bit optimistic but if it is going on one of its mini-runs, you should see .03 at least. Good luck!

Is this a good time to get into UVCL? There 10-K has to be coming out soon and may push this up a little. I think the last one was April 30th.
