AüGRID moves forward with nanomaterial patent implementation
Houston, Texas, June 24, 2004- AüGRID Corporation (OTCBB: AGRD) positions its self to be a leader in a trillion dollar nanomaterials market by announced today that Byron Ziegler, Director of Research and Development, is scheduled to speak at the Institute for Defense and Government Advancement’s (www.idga.org) conference in Washington, DC on July 27 - 28, 2004. The main topic of the conference will be “Lightweight Materials for Defense Engineering: Lighter, Stronger, and Faster Equipment for the Warfighter.”
At the conference, Mr. Ziegler will be hosting a workshop explaining AüGRID’s capabilities and expertise in manufacturing processes for lightweight materials. AüGRID’s advanced technology creates numerous possibilities in the design of more effective protective gear. The new processes will allow for lighter-weight gear, in addition to increased performance in the areas of multi-hit durability, greater ballistic resistance, and the optimized use of structural materials.
MJ Shaheed, President and CEO of AüGRID Corporation, stated, “Now that AüGRID has secured a portion of our intellectual property with our most recent patent application [#AUGR002USP] we can quickly move into a revenue model and pursue many applications for our nanomaterial products.”
The promise of nanotechnology has created lofty expectations in some quarters. The U.S. National Science Foundation is on record as predicting that the market for nanotechnology, or products containing nanotechnology, will reach $1 trillion in 10 to 15 years. “This is a technology segment where AüGRID can excel, and we are aggressively pursuing it,” added Mr. Shaheed.
The total world market for nanoparticles materials (materials between 1 and 100 nanometers in size) reached $492.5 million in 2000 and is expected to grow to $900.1 million in 2005 according to a presentation by Dr. Mindy N. Rittner, Senior Industry analyst for Business Communications Company, Inc. Electronic, magnetic and optoelectronic applications are expected to continue generating the largest demand, with an anticipated 74.2% market share by 2005. Biomedical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications are expected to hold 16.1% of the market in 2005; while energy, catalytic and structural applications are expected to hold 9.8%.
With the patent pending on this cutting-edge technology, the next step for AüGRID is to progress from the laboratory to the manufacturing environment.
Byron Ziegler looks forward to sharing AüGRID’s vision at the IDGA conference. Ziegler has over 22 years experience in research and development in the areas of plasma chemistry, novel synthesis, material science, thermal management, thin film and ceramics.

Steve tells me charts will have full L2 very soon. It is a contractual issue. They are getting close. I think it will link to the "Realtime Data" platform. Gonna be nice, see every single transaction "buyorsell" at the same time it happens, alongside L2. Unbeatable!!!
