Well there is no news that I can find that would have caused this jump. Anyone that can help as to why? And where they think it may be going will be well appreciated. I am in @.0066. (TIA)

Hello anyone, Dog, Mav, Tommy, somebody?

Pay attention to world news!

Might want to look at investments held
by your ARES company.

Ok, what news came out today regarding
commodity stocks, and what happened
overseas which affects a commodity?

Think Beverly Hillbillys, yall, although
it is spelled "hillbillies."

Guesses don't count!

Is oil up today or not?

What happened overseas affecting oil?

In which commodity is your ARES heavily
vested? You better darn well know!

Forgive me, nah don't. I am a retired
public school teacher, science and
English, along with being an English
professor. They don't come more anal
retentive than that!

"Pedantic" is the word I am suppose
to use but I no longer have an annoying
principal looking over my shoulder.

You will discover, by habit, I respond
with questions, rather than answers.

Incidently, are you watching the price
of gold and related stocks? You should!

Gotta a little goldmine which is proving
to be profitable, over and over and over...
buy.. sell.. buy.. sell.. buy.. sell..

What's girl to do? So darn fickle.

Yes Purl, I'm aware that you are a retired school teacher. I came across that information somewhere on Allstocks, nevertheless what is the name of that mine, if you don't mind telling?
Thank you

PURL GURL:
I appreciate your response, however I do not understand what gold mine you are talking about.
I have checked out what I thought was most everything about this company before I purchased this stock.
I am a newbie who is trying hard to learn and understand the stock market, but there is alot to learn.
What I found was that they are into Recreational rentals, Manufacturing, Marketing & Distribution, Automotive Specialty Engineering, Broadband Services, Energy, and Homeland security. I have found nothing about gold mines.
The way you responded made it sound like you thought I am a dummy that didnt due any DD on this stock. I can give you a hundred different links to DD on this stock. So if you know something I don't I wouldn't mind you sharing it with this dummy that is trying to learn. I will never turn down a helping hand, and don't critize those who may overlook something, or just asking for help. If I know something and can help anyone with DD I am willing to give all I can. Good luck with your stocks.

Mdec: not a chance!

Degs, please accept my sincere apology
for coming across like you are a dummy.
This was not my intent and I am truly
sorry for my poor choice of wording.

I did state, somewhere, I can be annoying,
so much so, I know the taste of my foot.

My approach is virtually "instinctive"
having spent so many years in classrooms,
at all levels, including postgraduate.

This approach is to cause others to think,
to cause others to research and read, to
cause others to learn, on their own, with
a little directional pushing, a helping
hand, in more simple terms.

More candid, I usually do not serve up
help on a silver platter. This would be
wrongful behavior on my part by causing
more damage than good.

You, the reader, will learn more through
tackling problems on your own, with a
little help along the way. What you read,
what you learn, will be "burnt" into your
eeprom, this thing known as your brain,
when you have to work at learning.

You can always simply ask point blank what
you want to know, like the name of this
goldmine. I might tell, I might not.

In this case, not.

Selfish? Greedy? Darn straight! I have a
stock which I work three to four times
a year, a well hidden gem which consistently
nets me a good profit based on gold prices.
That stock precisely follows the price of
gold, year in and year out. Should I disclose
the name of this stock, it would be ruined.

So many people would rush in, so many would
start working it, none would profit, many
would lose money. This goldmine, it would
collapse upon itself.

I will share this. A goldmine doesn't mean
literally that, maybe it does. A goldmine
is your own personal little stash you want
all to yourself because you are a greedy
selfish money grubbing jerk who wants to
keep all the money, and share with none.

That's me. Well, I am keeping all the
money so I can give it to my daughter
who will promptly blow it on a Ferrari
or a Contach.

Pretty simple, find a stock which flows
with the gold. Buy when gold is down, sell
when gold is up. Like I said, simple, yes?

You know, there is black gold, as well.

Today's events related earlier, what stocks
do you think I will be looking to buy bright
and early at opening bell tomorrow?

Degs, I am sorry. I did not mean to offend.
