One picture under negotiations is "Winners" from the screenplay by Gregory Poppen and Pierre Plater from a story by Pierre Plater and Benjamin Watkins. Randall Emmett and George Furla of Emmett/Furla Films, along with Mark Walker and Delilah Walker of Renaissance Entertainment and Pierre Plater and Jeff Rice, will produce the picture. Gregory Poppen will direct the picture. "Winners" is the story of a young architect who, after witnessing the murder of his best friend, must for the first time in his life stand up for what he believes in and protect those he loves. The other picture under negotiations is "Past Tense" from a screenplay by Paul J. da Silva. Randall Emmett and George Furla of Emmett/Furla Films, along with Tucker Tooley and Vincent Newman of Newman/Tooley Films, will produce the picture. J.C. Spink and Chris Bender of BenderSpink will executive produce the picture. Stanley Tong ("Rumble in the Bronx" & "First Strike") will direct the picture. "Past Tense" is the story of a young cop specializing in Asian gangs who must aid an older, more experienced cop in bringing a Hong Kong gang leader to justice. No I sold IQBM BIPH ULTR for gain. Held CEQH at current $300 down from buy-in. Held FMLY at current $100 down from buy-in. Think FMLY will still move.
