Just be thankful the site is still up. I have been running a website/forum for about 3 years, and it can cost a tremendous amount of money once a lot of people begin using them. I even own a hosting company so I get servers and bandwidth at cost, and it can still cost upwards of 500 dollars a month not including software licenses to keep up.
I doubt this site costs that much, but even at a fraction of that, it's still out of the pocket costs for the owner. The only real solution is to have ads or require users to pay to use the service. What would you rather do.. have an extra click to get past an ad, or pay money to use the site?

Yeah, I realize it's a money thing... and I'm almost ready to pay!
I wonder if they realize nobody actually sees the ad, I mean how many of you have actually read one?! lol
Unless, of course, they are selling a product called "Skip this Ad"...

My pop-up screener used to work here but this one gets thru it. I am all for advertising if it keeps the site up and running. I got tired of being a winner every time I logged in.LOL
