In a world where everything’s becoming wireless, it shouldn’t come as any big surprise that the most cost-effective, secure, and error-proof way of monitoring inmates and guards within a prison would be to simply attach a tamper-free electronic device to every individual and to then tie them all together with a central computer.
While not too many years ago such a system may have sounded a tad futuristic, in a nutshell this is exactly what ALAN’s trade named TSI PRISM system does; it provides security management of any type with leading-edge location and tracking technology.
Now if you contrast the accuracy of such a system against the old fashioned head-count and turn-key systems now in use by most of our nation’s huge and growing correctional industry, it’s a no brainer to predict that within a decade nearly all American inmates and security personnel will be equipped with some type of electronic monitoring device.
Given the fact that virtually all TSI PRISM sales involve various federal and states agencies, sales contracts understandably take far more time to finalize and fund than do those executed in the private sector.
But unless law breaking were to suddenly come to a screeching halt, Sparky thinks ALAN is perfectly positioned to benefit from what’s bound to be phenomenal growth well into the future.
And given today’s political climate, Sparky expects news from the company in the not too distant future that will announce either progress on existing contracts or news about some exciting new stuff.
That said, Sparky thinks that those seeking impressive near-term growth and lots in the way of long-term appreciation should be rapidly and aggressively accumulating these undervalued ALAN shares anywhere near current levels (now 90 cents).
And as a word of caution, these are very thinly traded shares, which are hard to accumulate, especially in any quantity, without paying a premium. So if you do buy, don't be too pennywise and passive or you'll be bidding all day with no fills.
