If I may, some questions for the knowledgeable people on this forum.
I am looking at Minco Silver Corp (TSX: MSV). It is a subsidiary of Minco Mining & Metals Corporation (TSX:MMM, AMEX:MMK). MSV IPO'd and started trading just this past December. It was about $1.50 when it started and is about $4 right now. Some are comparing it to SVM but I think that's a bit far fetched, as it's not even a producer yet. But then again, I guess any silver play will be compared to SVM for a some time to come, right?
Has anyone researched either MSV or its parent MMM or both? If you were going after this play, would you go after MSV or the parent?
Thanks in advance for any insight anyone might have into this.

I saw Minco a few months ago. I thought it looked Ok. I inly saw the MMM, not the MSV, that went from 2 to 4. We didn't buy any, opting instead for Mag silver. Mag is a very interesting mexican silver compnay. I like to think of Mag as "the mexican Silvercorp". But as another poster made comment that Mag is no where nean the potential of SVM. Sttll look at the price difference, SVM is at $15 US, and Mag at $2.50 US, both 40 M shares. I'd say Mag is the best undervalued silver stock on the market. Its a Buy price right now.

With all due respect, I appreciate more your opinions and DD on the stock in the thread title, rather than recommendations of other plays. Thanks again.
