This one i just bought into and I like it alot. ONLY 7.8 million shares O/S and tightly held. Great potential for a huge silver/zinc resource.
Buying just started and no one seems to be willing to sell any. Once the bigboys get ahold of this itll run.
This release got my attention.

CMC Metals cuts 4.63% Zn, 75.98 g/t Ag over 22.7 m

2005-12-13 17:46 ET - News Release

Mr. Don Wedman reports

CMC INTERSECTS 22.7METRES OF 4.63% ZINC AND 75.98 G/MT SILVER

CMC Metals Ltd. has now received the remaining results from the 2005 exploration program at the CMC claims in the Yukon. The company is pleased to announce the presence of high-grade silver veins in the KL trench and a substantial zinc/silver intersection, averaging 20.5 metres wide over a 100-metre strike length. As part of the 2005 exploration program, exposed mineralized trenches were channel sampled and drilled to determine grade and seam width. Three open trenches were sampled, KL, K and S trenches. The company now has results for the KL and K zone trench channel samples, plus the drill samples. Also, the results of the S zone drill samples confirmed the continuation of the high-grade silver vein. The KL exposed trench has a strike length of 110 metres. Seam width was based on cut-off grades of 100 grams per tonne Ag and/or greater than 2.5 per cent combined Pb/Zn values. Quality assurance/quality control duplicate, blank and standard samples were used to ensure quality control on sample preparation and analysis.

The following are the results for the KL 2005 trench sampling.

And 8.45 9.40 0.95 5.90 6.65 1666

Three shallow drill holes were placed to coincide with the 0+00, 0+50 and 1+00 surveyed locations. The following are the results for the KL zone drill sections.

Sample From To Pb Zn Ag
(m) (m) (%) (%) (g/t)

DH05-09 0+00 7.50 23.95 0.12 2.85 133

All sample lengths are drill core intersect lengths. Drill holes were inclined at 45 degrees. Induced polarization survey anomaly structure appears to dip at 40 degrees to the northwest. Drill hole locations were aligned with the trench locations to provide a representative sample at depth and at the exposed surface. Results from the 2005 drill samples will provide the opportunity to expand the resource estimates for the CMC silver property. It is evident that sulphide dissemination is significant in the KL trench. This has led the company to commit to re-evaluating the resource estimates by including the zinc mineralization in determining tonnage and grades. The past geochem survey shows anomaly values 300 metres on strike to the northeast of DH05-09. Based on the 2005 results, CMC Metals will continue exploration of the KL zone area to expand the understanding of the KL zone.

Further to the company's news release dated Nov. 17, 2005, on the S zone trench results, the company now has the drill sample results that confirm the continuation of this high-grade silver at depth.

Shallow drill holes were drilled to evaluated surface accessible resources. The following are the results.

Sample Int. Pb Zn Ag
(m) (%) (%) (g/t)

DH05-01 1+00 0.08 53.14 0.12 5886

DH05-02 0+50 1.80 0.19 8.32 1826

All sample lengths are drill core intersect lengths. Drill holes were inclined at 45 degrees. Drill hole locations were aligned with the trench locations to provide a representative sample at depth and at the exposed surface.

The K zone area was also trench drilled sampled. Identified trench and drill values were more variable than the S and KL zone areas and found to be more zinc mineralized than silver.

The following are the reason results for this zone.

Dahrouge Geological Consulting provided on-site geological interpretations, sample collection and implementation of quality control protocols. Aurum Geological Consultants Inc. provided quality assurance/quality control check on sample collection procedures. Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd. in Vancouver conducted sample preparation and analysis. Sample analysis was by acid digest and was analyzed by ICP-ES method and fire assay for Ag and Au. Blank, standard and duplicate samples were used for quality assurance and quality control for sample analysis. Assay intervals reported from the trenches relatively flat-lying and therefore interval widths correspond to horizontal widths. Drill core intervals are core lengths. Based on the results received, the company will review the resources and determine a resource base including the silver and zinc values.

As commented by Donald Wedman, PEng, president and chief executive officer, "This is an exciting mineral deposit that continues to show the enormous potential the CMC claims holds."

The company continues to assimilate the data on the $6-million worth of work expended on the property by previous owners.

The technical information in this news release has been prepared in accordance with the Canadian regulatory requirements set out in National Instrument 43-101 and reviewed by Mr. Wedman, a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101.

Now keep in mind that last paragraph that said 6 Million$$ worth of work by previous owners. Current marketcap for CMB is only 2.5 million fully diluted. Hmmmmmm nuff said.
