About Liberty Mines Inc.

Liberty Mines Inc. is a mineral exploration and development company with a focus on the development and production of nickel, cobalt and platinum group metals from its properties in Ontario.

Liberty Mines would like to free nickel, copper, and cobalt from its underground holding. The company, formerly Liberty Mineral Exploration, has pinpointed its exploration activities near Timmins, Ontario. Its projects include Redstone, McWatters, and McAra Lake. The Redstone property was a joint venture with Inco Limited, until Liberty bought out Inco's stake in late 2004. The company is dewatering the mine and expects production to begin in November 2005. Management and directors hold more than 10% of Liberty Mines.

Well worth looking at, indeed! Just signed a deal with the 3rd largest nickel importer in China and the Bank of China for a $4M US [non-dilutive] credit facility "to construct infrastructure and purchase concentrating equipment for a new mill at the Redstone mine". De-watering now in process for expected November production start at the mine.

After news on Wed, it popped briefly to .58, closed today at .49. With reasonable management it should be difficult to screw this one up
