NDOL - no production NWOG - less than one million MAGMA - 2.5 million (generously padded) Appears to me NDOL is claiming about twice its true barrel output per year. Lots and lots of credibility problems. But hey! You are guaranteed $2.17 per share! I am never, truly never surprised pump and dump people will not discuss known facts. Purl Gurl http://www.sibirenergy.com/itemdetails.asp?c_id=19&news_id=7 [/qb][/QUOTE]They are not claiming a current 7 million barrel per year production rate. The 7 million barrel/year is a future projection, not a current 2006 calendar year projection. “The company is expected to conclude the transaction over the next several months…” "Once the acquisition is completed, our company…will increase production to 7 million barrels per year…” So, they are saying that after the acquisition is completed in the next several months, the total output will increase to 7 million. The numbers are not inconsistent with existing projections: 2.5 million (Magma, number from your padded guestimate) .9 million (current NW) 3.68 million (NORD planned production for 2007 from nordoil.com) Total is a little over 7 million barrels. No one knows what the future production numbers will actually be; I’m just saying that the 7 million is not necessarily inconsistent with previously published info. Also, as pointed out correctly by CGI_SpitFire, the Magma data you cited is from 2004. “The Study was presented by Magma … on 27 October 2004.” The 2004 study was not approved until May 2005, but the data in the study was still from 2004.
