Yeah, it seems to be working down to its 50 dma. I have been riding the copper wave for months now, not really swinging at all, but it has been a dam good 4-5 months It gets a little closer to 3 and I will probably bail for a little bit.

I am pretty weak on charting. Using those settings you have on the one you posted, how would you read PD right now?

PD?
I'm not worth a damn at jargon and catchy initials for saying things. Never have been.
Math, by the way, was a designation of the portion of a field which had not been mowed or harvested or plowed when it had been partially done.
It has no proper place being used in place of the word mathematics. Mathematics is derived from two bits from ancient Greek, one being mathemos, "the mind or, more specifically, thought or thinking" and the other provides the -atics ending, meaning the study of. So that, mathematics, approximately translated is the study of thinking or the study of the processes of thinking, i.e, logical processes.
I'm sorry to report that what most people mean when they speak of "math" is none of what is discussed the above, but perhaps is sort of "book keeping" or "scoring" and not even arithmatic (which is NOT mathematics!!), which clearly isn't of importance in farming and isn't anything like mathematics.
By the way, there is no such thing as a "statistic", since statistics is not a plural, any more than obstetrics or kenetics is. The objects used in statistics are data. Statistics is not a collection of objects, it is a process or discipline rather than a things or things.
So, sadly, I have no notion of what PD means. Maybe I wouldn't if I knew what a PD was?

LOL Not sure what the diatribe on math vs mathematics is about. PD is a stock ticker that I mentioned along with PCU and CUP. Another copper producer on the NYSE.
PD = Phelps Dodge

All I was asking was if you plugged in PD in the chart you showed above with those settings (1 month, 2&5 dma, etc.), what would you think. Didn't mean to start a ruckus. Just trying to get a better grasp on some charting concepts.
Thanks though!
