I have noticed a differance this year over and above the normal Summer Doldrums...

Lot's of traders seem to live in the Sun Belt..
Florida has a large trading population..

I think many of them are hurting, and just don't have the money or the desire to be trading..

Add everything up, market conditions, scandals, Hurricanes, etc, and pennyland isn't shinning so bright anymore..

There will always be a play around, you just have to be very selective and careful......

If you cannot see SEC filings on a stock stay away........

The OTCBB'S can reveal some very good information..

The Pinks? nope, they generaly tell you nothing of substance that can be verified.......

Hurricane Katrina knocked me out of the loop for just over a month... many surrounding areas are still without power or phone.. or cable.
I don't doubt that volume will be less than usuall for months to come.

Peaser01,

Logic tells me that FPL is going to lose money because of the repairs and labor they have to pay out of their pocket. Why would an investor want to buy stock in this company if its going to be spending money rather than making it? That is my thought on this situation. Please share any info. that I am overlooking.

That reminds me.
How is QBID doing?
wow... three zeros now... too bad they are behind the decimal.

Hey! The combination of QBID and CMKX volume equals around 40% of the total OTCBB volume. What does that say about the OTCBB? 40%!

Dustoff101 - posted
The SEC may have something to say and do in regards to QBID..

If they do what they should, volume won't be a factor regarding QBID, there will not be any.

As in halted.

The PR'S regarding the buy backs will probably cook they're collective Goose.

Lawsuits are coming... I assure you.
The so-called audit was an attempt to Cover Frank's azz.
Sadly only a real audit would do that... not the in-house audit we might soon see.

It says that most OTC traders don't know anything about trading.

You're absolutely correct. I never mentioned to buy anything dealing with this company. The fact that the traders with power previosly out, means that they will more than likely be back in business soon as long as they do not have too much damage to their property. The market can only get stronger IMHO.

Also, new traders are getting duped into buying QBID due to the long threads being created. The newbies don't know any better and are throwing their cash away IMHO.

Peaser01,
you're 100% right about QBID,
