TORONTO, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Mr. John K. Yee, Chairman of Magnum d'Or Resources, Inc. is pleased to report that Placer Dome International Limited (NYSE:PDG - News; TSX:PDG - News) has commenced field work for the examination phase on the Khul Morit Property in Mongolia this month. Placer recently sponsored a Gold / Exploration Conference called Discover Mongolia held in Ulaanbaatar, the Capital of Mongolia, on September 15 and 16, 2005.
The diamond drill core samples from the Khul Morit Property have now been delivered to the assayer in Vancouver and results are expected shortly.
Mr. Yee additionally reports that the Company is encouraged by the progress of this work and is currently assessing new opportunities to enhance shareholder value.
