This stock is in trouble that only good news can turn around REAL GOOD NEWS. News on Fri didn't budge this stock.

Sawdust - posted
Here's why:

Wm% turning up (but I don't think it will
break out of the -80 area)
Stoch's are up turning (again don't believe
they will bounce off the 5 and thru the 20)
RSI down
Accumulation not ready
Chi Osc down
Aroon indicates that downtrend will continue
MACD neutral
ADX neg recently crossed over pos (not good)

I think support in this area 35-38. If it breaks thru next support at 25.

Only good news will turn this around in the next week or so.

But Hey I've been wrong before.

You should check your sources instead of pumping nad dumping yourself. Quest Oil has valid CEO's leading this train into success. Cameron King, the current CEO is a former member of the Corporate Banking Team for the Bank of Nova Scotia in Toronto. This bank has made leaps and bounds into the international financing market with this man at the helm.

As for your meager assessment, check out this chart:

http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=7979944

I don't know what your chart says, but there is no indication of a drop to 35- 38. At this point we are in a gap fill position. The market makers are having a hell of a time. If I had known better I would have made more profit. However, I am in for the long haul on this one. They have secured financing, bought their own rigs and are in full forward motion on an aggressive business plan to be on line by the end of October. Not to mention they are moving ahead on their newest acquisitions in Texas and other international buys as well. They recenlty opened a new office in London.

hhmmm looks valid to me..and oh by the way, did I mention that I visited Arcadia to see these sites? I have a large investment in this and wanted to see where my money was going.

Have a nice day. Due your own DD

Thanks, in spite of myself, this was my newbie stock. I bought them in November of 2004. I could not have asked for a better example of how a company grows in the land of the SEC!!! You should check out the progress since June.

Krysten911,

That bunch has been bashing a whole list of stocks, not just QOIL and I do get tired of them and thier crap. They are prone to posting articles from months and years back as if they were new information and using those to bad-mouth stocks. A collection of jerks!

Hey, tell me, what is a GIS Specialist?

Krysten911 - posted
I spend most of my time on IHUB and Raging Bull, though RB has lots of bashers as well. IHUB seems the most even keel these days.

A GIS Specialist is a person who builds maps and everything associated with maps. I create data and build data directories and also create end user applications for clients to create their own maps. From time to time, I am able to go out into the field for real time data instead of computer generated. It is pretty fun, not as fun as when I used to ride airboats in the Everglades for mercury research though! :-)

bdgee - posted
Yeah, neat........and I like the idea of airboats in the 'glades, too. Done a bit of sample collecting on mercury polution myself, though not in the 'glades.

To tell the truth, I thought map making was topography. Maybe that's an old time terminology and I'm just left behind again.

Krysten911 - posted
Yes and no. Topology is actually a type of map showing elevation bands through out a region. Basically you can take a "topo" map and get alll kinds of information from it such as roads, 3-D shading, elevations and even streams or other water bodies and sometimes cultural locations. Topology is a way of displaying data onto a map, other ways are like the street maps you would see from AAA or isolated wetlands mapping or endangered species maps or even regional mapping.

bdgee - posted
I think you meant "topography" not "topology"....topology is a branch of pure mathematics and is free of things like elevations and corners and such (a topologist recogognizes no distinction between a circle and a square, tossing both into the class of "simple closed curves'....strange folk, indeed, those topologist)....."topography" is the "depiction" of the shapes and contours of an actual surface or physical object. But I guess that I'm just being picky and boring to the uninterested or unconcerned..

Any way, I see what you are getting at, as I see that a topographical map is only one variety of map.

Thanks!!

Krysten911 - posted
You say tomato I say tomahto- you got me...too much technical thinking with no caffeine. But to clarify, some will say that topography was developed on the basis of topology. Check this out:
http://www-groups.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/~history/HistTopics/Topology_in_mathematics.html

The initiating idea presents that the mathmatical functions can be and are applied to real world location and therefore can be mapped and shown in the Konigsburg Bridge Problem. We read this in one of my first mapping classes.

So, sorry for the confusion on my part...it is my profession and I still mix up words! Sad...
