Originally posted by YellowSubmarine: [QB] PLEASE NOTE: American machining technology has remained rather stagnant for many, many years, until NOW.... They have added automation (CNC = computer numerical control, PLCs, high performance Servos, etc.) to lots of the formerly manual processes, but the cutting tool running on the workpiece and how it works hasn't changed for eons... We now have a paradigm shift. A totally new USA TECHNOLOGY that will ultimately have the impact of the original Industrial Revolution, the invention of the steam engine, and the invention of usable and dependable electricity. This will stop the flood of exported machine work (..Ross Perot's 'sucking sound'..) moving to foreign lands - and actually reverse the trend bringing it back..!!! Let me repeat that. Actually reverse the dam* trend and bring the machining work back to the USA..!!! If you had the least small grip on the processes and costs of machining operations, this would equate to having Transporters at all the airports - where'd you'd walk in to one, and walk out a microsecond later in Fiji...!!! This is not a joke. The new "..LACC.." process employed by AmeriChip International (ACHI) does something absolutely amazing. It allows the cutting of parts without coolants or lubricants that actually can damage the microstructure of the worked parts. The process also results in the "..heat of cutting.." being quickly carried away by the smaller "..chips.." produced as they fly off. Getting rid of the cutting heat allows the processing of a single part to be sped-up by 10-to-20 times over standard lubricated cutting. So, while the Taiwanese might be able to make 1.3 more parts-per-$ than American machinists can do now; AmeriChip's process can make 10+ parts more than the Taiwanese for the same $ in the same time. This process also results in the parts being less heat-hardened by the cutting, and for the very expensive cutting tools to last much, much longer. Having to change out less cutting tools per shift, per day, or per week saves huge amounts of money for ACHI, or other machining firms. If you "..Oooo & Ahhhh.." over things like "..Beam me up, Scotty..", "..Warp Drives..", "..Dr. Who's Tardis..", "..flying saucers..", etc. - welcome to the new world of advanced technology machining...!!! Same impact - different genre'..... ACHI is about to do the whole plant expansion, financial filings, OTCBB application, New business announcements, rock-the-freakin'-clock thing, so IMHfreakin'O you either get in Monday at the Open - or you order your B.B. King sheet music for the "..2005 Woulda-Shoulda-Coulda Blues.."!!! The "..No Whining.." lamp will be lit as of 1000 hours on Monday. DYODD. Do whatcha gotta do. Do yur t-h-a-n-g. Do yur sweetie. Whatever..... But DON'T under any circumstances let Monday morning come without having your homework finished (..dog or no dog..) and having made your decision. You been told, ...Poopsy..!!! http://www.ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=ACHI http://www.siliconinvestor.com/subject.aspx?subjectid=55784 http://www.americhiplacc.com .
