NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 7, 2004--mPhase Technologies (OTC: XDSL - News) today announced that it has reached agreement with SkyStream Networks to resell its video headend and content delivery platforms and co-market end-to-end Telco TV solutions.
mPhase Technologies markets the TV+ System, a software video switch platform that allows telephone companies to deliver broadcast TV and broadband data to consumers. SkyStream's flagship Mediaplex-20(TM) switched digital video headend features high-density encoding and powerful video processing so that broadcast video can be transported over any last-mile network. In addition to the Mediaplex-20, SkyStream's iPlex(TM) is a compact, 1 RU video headend platform ideal for local or edge video encoding. Lastly, SkyStream's zBand content delivery platform enables PUSH video-on-demand for significantly more cost effective on-demand services.
