not to be a wet blanket, but - prizewise is not better than ebay. ebay turned $441 billion in profit last year, prizewise i doubt it will bring in $10k. honestly i will be amazed if prizewise lasts more than a few months, what a goofy and hairbrained scheme

Hi Tuffy, I am also an Ebayer, but sort of retired. Remember the good ole days of Ebay. Weren't they great!! Actually if Prizewise were to be a part of Ebay, I would jump in. Everything they touch turns to gold. They have the Midas touch. However, the concept is still good, but my logic tells me that Prizewise might fly for a short time, maybe, based on hype and something new. But here are some questions. How are the buyers going to pay? Would they be mailing in their dollars, paying by check, Paypal? And the poor sellers. What are the fees. If the seller doesn't get his reserve, via enough participants, and no one wins item, will they have to pay additional fees to re-list the item, at some point, if reserve is not met. What if seller doesn't re-list the item. Will everyone get a refund? I haven't had a chance to do the research on this company. Will be in touch, when I have found out more info about the company and the people involved in this new, perhaps exciting venture. If you own shares, I wish you Good Luck, and much Profit! My Best, Show-Me

I just tried to register on Prizewise to be ready for Friday's opening. One thing I didn't like was in order to register I would have to give my credit card information. I didn't like that so very pretty good so I quit there. Maybe I did something wrong.

Hi ShowMe, I registered at prizewise.com, and I had the option to register with my cc# or checking account.
This is similar to Ebay in the signup process: username, password, your actual name,... but no paypal. The buyers purchase coupons($1 per coupon). However, I would not call them buyers. They are more want to be winners. And the chance of you winning easy much better than going to Vegas or playing the lottery since it is based on how many tickets are entered for that item. If the total tickets are not met, sellers are allowed to re-list. And the buyers/players will get their refunds/tickets back. The commission for listing the item is 17%. Therefore, if you are the seller with an item worth i.e. $200, the seller would make the total tickets approx. 400. If the 400 tickets are met, there will be a drawing for the winning ticket. You know what? You can go to their FAQ and it will answer your questions. I am just blabbing away. I got in when it was at $.031. Boo-hoo for me, my funds are being transferred from Scottrade. I wish I could buy more than my tiny ##,### shares. I am totally regretting signing up with Scottrade.

I still have a tad on Qbid, but I sunk tons of money on srci when it was at .0007. Now, I promised myself not to buy pinks with Scottrade. They've raped me enough (LOL). After losing over $1500 in their commission fees. I am done with them.
I am really new with trading. I just started around a month ago, but I'm sure that TFCT will be great. I hope Prizewise will market similar to EBAY. EBAY I believe is trading at $80+. That would be Sweet!

I wish I had visited Prizewise before I sold most of my shares at a small profit. --------------------------------------------- I think this could be good because the seller can receive about 140% of the value of what he is selling. I think that is after fees. The buyers are not buying coupons to use for the auctions but discount coupons for purchases on goods they would get elsewhere and the prize tickets are given for free. So there is no paypal to hassle with, no waiting for payment, a listing can be there for 100 days without recurring fees and this could be good if it runs smooth and the coupons are worthwhile. I haven't registered yet but plan on it soon. The things I would have put on ebay I will put on prizewise. Could do well. I have 5000 shares left. If it turns out to be good I will be happy and if it retraces big I will buy. IMO-DD-Debi

Tuffy, how did you know that I needed Starbucks? LOL. I took a very long nap recently. I was just waking up to see that our stock is down a itsy bit. No big. I still think it will do just fine. I wish I could say the same with the rest of my stocks. Yuck! They are pititul. By the way, I was reading the other thread under micro penny .10. There some heated debates of the pros and cons. Ya know I read Roger's comments. He isn't bad. I am a newbie. You can't be more naive than me, but I have common sense. I KNOW that this is NOT going to be EBAY overnight, and I don't think Prizewise needs to compete with EBAY. Different strategy of selling and winning. However, it will work if they have their marketing squared away. I'm 31 soon to be 32, and I like 50 cents music not all but definitely "in da club". Prizewise will be successful. At least that's my opinion. I can't wait for Monday or June 10th for them to launch their advertisement.

Thanks Tuffy! I will check it out. Of course, I am still reading on the fundamental of trading 101. If you get my meaning. I am sooooo wet behind the ears. That is why I count on everyone's DD just to get ideas/opinions.
Instead of going shopping or chillin' at Starbucks, I am utilizing my $$ to invest. 'Course I'm a tad mean without my latte. Tee-hee.
Have a great weekend all. C'ya Monday Tuffy via Allstocks. :-)

FROM ANOTHER BOARD
From what I can see from every chart time frame from minute to week we could hit about .084 to.09 ,but remember the retrace so watch out for all who go scrambling to sell for a quick dime, people hold on this is a long but glorious ride, never forget yahoo or ebay or the little one so many over look Red Hat, it did at one time take a nice leap as I once predicted to many but so few heeded the call.
