And also doesn't a companys stock drop when a merger happens?
This is a long one! Grab a cup of coffee Good question to ask him tomorrow. How many actual on-the-book acquisitions and how many letters of intent to acquire? According to the paragraph below, it looks like Four full acquisitions. Infotel in Singapore, IP Global Voice, Medical Office Software Inc., and RKM IT Solutions. The latest news from the businesswire sounds like a partnership, with IPVoice having a 20% interest in the company. The paragraph below came from today's Businesswire. Crafty guy this Verges. Must have read Machiavelli's "The Art of War". Small state takes over a small state, then another, and another... until the small state is the big state to take on (or compete with) any other big state. In this case, business. As to why selling... I don't know that you have mass selling. More like manipulation from MMs, some Berlin Exchange selling fears & shorting, and people who thought this would be instant gratification and want out due to lack of patience. If you've got a sence for business & trends, you wouldn't sell this stock unless you had to or for the above listed reasons. IMO only!! Yes, bigger companies are moving into Voice Over. However, as stated in the IPVO news out today, shareholders won't reap the rewards like they will with the smaller company who is growing, such as IPVO. Verges wants to become one of the big guys... he is setting-up shop so to speak all over the world PLUS acquiring companies already in big markets like Asia & Latin America. IP Voice had strong earnings and cash flow. Improving each quarter. We can see that from their SEC filings. We'll probably see a dip in their cash flow as they acquire these small companies, but these small companies, other than maybe Infotel, are bringing instant revenue to IPVO. So... don't worry about the sellers. Do worry about the Berlin Exchange. We've all seen how that hurts stock holders. IPVO must get delisted immediately. Let's call them, email and ask them to send out another PR statement regarding demand letter to delist from Berlin... and then ask them to DO IT, as other companies have been able to get delisted almost immediately upon request. Like "BIBO" for example. My only concern with a strong company meeting a viable demand like IPVO is the US & World economy/welfare. That's out of our control and will affect the entire market, not just one or two stocks. From Businesswire news 6-9-04: IPVoice is a six-year-old company that has reported as a research and development concern for most of its history. In 2002, IPVoice launched a new business plan, which resulted in the Company posting six consecutive profitable quarters throu gh 2003 and establishing an annualized $15 million in revenue. The Company is actively acquiring early-stage proprietary technology companies and financially distressed systems integration companies in specific global markets. In 2003, IPVoice acquired Infotel Technologies in Singapore and IP Global Voice, led by CEO Peter Geddis, a former Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Qwest Communications (NYSE:Q). The Company recently acquired Medical Office Software Inc., diversifying its communications technology offering into the healthcare industry. RKM IT Solutions of Caracas, Venezuela was also recently acquired as IPVO's entry into the Latin American market. P.S. I bought more IPVO today! [/QB]
