According to recent news, "The agreement calls for us to undertake an on-site engineering study, which is scheduled to commence in January 2004, to develop the blueprint for a national telecommunications network based on ARC System technology and deployment. This will be followed by the execution of a contractual commitment for the delivery, installation and deployment of four (4) ARC Systems. We have been advised that, based upon the strength of earlier presentations made to Government representatives and various telecommunications regulators, which were strongly supported by the U.S. Department of Commerce and local U.S. Embassy representatives, a national telecommunications license has been approved and is expected to be issued shortly. The license is predicated on the use of PLFM’s airborne wireless communications technology."
