After studying the market and the economic conditions I should add to my position in ford motor co it is very under valued and the automotive sector looks good for the next 5 years. Plus it pays a good dividend. so below is a very brief out look for ford

November Monthly Auto Sales Preview: Ford (F)

November 25, 2015 | 8:56 am

By: Craig Bowles

The leading automakers are scheduled to report monthly sales on Tuesday, December 1st.

Summary:
•Automakers are expected to report an 18.3 million seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR) for November sales. Edmunds.com projected sales would be an 8.3 percent decrease from October 2015, but a 2.5 percent increase from November 2014. Edmunds projects that the sales volume and SAAR will be the biggest for a November since 2001.
•Results in November 2015 have 23 selling days, compared to 25 sales days in November 2014.
•Gasoline prices have fallen to $2.07/gallon compared to the previous year’s $2.82. November is expected to be a strong month for luxury car and truck segments.
•Total sales in 2015 are projected to hit 17.4 million units overall, a 5.6% year-over-year increase and the highest industry total on record. (During the first half of 2015, projections had been for 16.9 million units and just below 2005’s 17 million.)
•Incentive spending by automakers averaged $3,066 per vehicle in November, up 6 percent from a year ago and down 1.1 percent from October 2015. Ford incentive spending in November increased 3.3% y/y. GM incentive spending in November increased 6.1% y/y to remain close to $1 billion. “This year incentive spending as a percentage of average MSRP is lower than what we saw from 2003 through 2006,” according to TRUECar.
•Zero percent financing and loan durations of up to 84 months support a record high level of borrowing for car purchases. Leasing accounts for 32% of all new vehicles that are financed, a record high and up over 1% from 2014. GM expects rental deliveries to decline by 60,000 units in the second half.
•Car loan financing rates are at or near all-time historic lows, and average new loan term durations are at or near all-time highs. The delinquency rate on auto loans has dropped to a five-year low.
•More loans are secured with lower credit scores, and lease penetrations are expected to reach 24% in 2015 for a new all-time high compared to 2009’s 13%. Ford’s CEO notes that cars on the road today are 11.5 years old on average, the oldest ever.
•2015 would mark six consecutive years of annual growth and the industry’s longest such streak in more than 50 years. The NY Fed’s report on a rate hike’s effect on the auto industry suggests that a 1% increase in rates would cause car production to fall at a rate of 12% a year and sales to fall at 3.25% a year
•U.S. auto stocks are flat-to-lower for more than 2 years despite strong sales.

Ford Motor (F) Expected Release Time: 9:15 a.m. EST

Overview: Ford Motor (F) accepted a new four-year U.S. labor contract with the United Auto Workers (UAW) that gives newer workers significant raises over the next several years. Veteran workers will get more modest raises. The agreement is similar at GM but bonuses make Ford a richer contract. Ford recalled nearly half a million cars due to fuel tank troubles. Ford’s Escape is their best-selling sports utility vehicle and projected to have another year of record sales. Currently SUVs account for 34% of the U.S. auto industry’s sales. European sales have been driven by higher sales of the new Mondeo and Mustang as well as SUVs and commercial vehicles. Analysts are predicting Ford will build a new SUV and a new pickup truck at a factory in Wayne, MI. A new Ford smartphone app allows drivers to unlock and lock doors or start engines remotely.

Technical Review: Ford shares found resistance around the $17 level in 2013 and 2014 and have fluctuated increasingly below the 200-day moving average with recent support at $13.00. Seasonally, auto stocks favor the first half of the year. Point and figure technicians have a bullish price objective of $20 with the uptrend line at $12.50. (Chart courtesy of StockCharts.com)

For all current

Ford shareholders,
it is important to
watch the interview
conducted this AM.
Mr. Fields unequivocally
stated that Ford Management
is not very concerned about
the performance of the PPS
per se. Mr. Fields declared that
the primary corporates objective
is to continue to build a strong
viable enterprise that produces
outstanding products that supply
customers with great value. He
also reiterated that shareholders
will be rewarded with growing
dividend yields that do not jeopardize
dividend security. His view is that the
next two fiscal years look promising
for Ford. He conveyed that the stock
price will eventually realize proper valuation
