And I take Trumps word of possible riots if they rob him of the nomination, as he has the most loyal followings that I have seen in years. [/qb]
i think it already did splinter. When the bailouts were first announced, the GOP's supported them. It took about three days for the anti-bailout people to figure out that they didn't want them. I was listening to Dave Ramsey when he came out and announced that he wouldn't support any bailouts. He started off by saying that what he was about to say would sound wrong, but you needed to hear him out.... At that moment when he said he was aginst bail-outs, i knew if he carried any weight with the idea, there was going to be a big split in conservatism. Family values should at minimum include the notion that every child has a dry warm bed and vittles regardless of how screwed up their parents are. Ramsey always gave excellent advice as far i was concerned, until he came up with the anti-bailout notions. Beleive me i don't like the bail-outs, but i listened very carefully to my Grandparents stories of the Great Depression- it was a national disgrace. We could just as easliy have taken all that bail-out money and dsitributed it evenly amongst all the adults in America and gotten better job growth out of it than we actually got, but that's not really the point. Bush had actually done that twice already in much smaller amounts than they had to use in '08. The point was and remains that the USA was robbed by white-collar workers primarily on Wall st and in the Banking biz and not one thing has changed to keep that from happening again. The only two candidates who are not owned by the same people who caused the collapse are Bernie and the Donald. Trump is at least a Capitalist.... I'm not even sure what Bernie is... [/QB]
