i'm aware of alot more bonuses going out for no reason in other agencies... there's way too much cronyism going on our govt.

I do think there should be bonuses at the VA.

It has to be a tough place to keep good doctors etc.

A unique situation the VA hospitals or offsite VA health facilities, depressing places to go sometimes, at least for me.

For some people it is a place to stay around and be confortable, it hard to explain. Maybe many don't see it that way, but i felt the same way when i was younger

i'm not against bonuses, but i am fully aware that conditions in the civil service are such that bonuses are not being awarded based on actaul performance. this case at teh VA is striclty about manipulating the paperwork to justify the bonuses.

the problem is not the VA per se, it is cronyism, and it's always present in any bureacracy.

for instance? let's say i have information proving that somebody is filing false timesheets every week. i report it to the OIG and they do nothing. (i do, i did and they didn't [Wink] )Filing false timesheets is not only a violation of standard policy and rules which is punishable with immediate firing, it is also fraud and a sceond felony beause you sign a govt doct that you falsiifed. it's actually pretty friggin serious. yet i know that in almost every case it is ignored.
this has been going on for decades through out the govt. it's gottne to the point where people at the govt feel entitled, even to their bonuses. I can prove it in writing right now at another agency.
On another topic but releveant to this one? Those missing IRS emails? Tha t isn't possible without a conspiracy. And i mean big damn conspiracy. The patriot act may stink, but it cuts both ways. the govt has backups of backups of those emails and it's pretty much required by law.... so when they say the hard-drives got deleted? that ignores how the internet works entirely. Those emails are stored at least twice on the srvers involved. The law states that they cannot be deleted....

i see major destruction coming in the civil service. Too many people have thier arms armpit deep in the cookie jar...

It's all engineered to collapse. It has been since inception.

The, or as Glassy so eloquently says "teh" (Honestly dude h before e ffs)

The whole system is engineered to expand to the point of bloated explosion and then implosion. It is engineered to create disaster which leads the idiot masses (you) to demand a remedy.

A remedy which is EXACTLY the same but on a grander scale

Que global currency.. Global FIAT currency, with global governance... The likes of which you chuckleheads have not seen.

Are your papers in order?

take note that i specifically accused the OIG of being a major part of the probelm becuase the OIG's are not only incompetent, they are complicit in many situations;

now look at the news form today, and remebr that the Medical Inspectors are the OIG at VA:

In the fantasy land inhabited by VA’s Office of the Medical Inspector, serious patient safety issues apparently have no impact on patient safety,” he said in a statement. “It's impossible to solve problems by whitewashing them or denying they exist.
“The VA, and particularly the VA’s Office of the Medical Inspector has consistently used a ‘harmless error’ defense, where the department acknowledges problems but claims patient care is unaffected,” she wrote. “This approach has prevented the VA from acknowledging the severity of systemic problems and from taking the necessary steps to provide quality care to veterans.

harmless error is excuse the OIG's use across the whole Fedral Govt to cover up real criminal behavior.

whistleblowers have been PUNISHED for trying to address the real problems. this is standard operating procedure in other agencies too.
