cash, when we invade iraq? i was critisized and even reviled by everyone i knew and everyone i didn't know who heard my opinion.
my opinion was simply this; invading Iraq is the biggest mistake the country has ever made. saddam is not good guy, but he is a product of his environment and removing him will create vacum that will be filled by some other bad guy sooner or later no matter what we do. By removing him, we are paving hte way specifically for the Iranians to take over a large peice of the middle east. It may take five or it may take fifty years, but it will happen BECAUSE we invaded. it doesn't matter what Obama does or doesn't do. The American people fianlly fiugred out what i and a very few other people like me already knew. AQ is gone. AQ was never part of what this has become. ISIS is what this is and is getting even more bizzarre than AQ ever was. We may end up providing air support to Iranian Gvot ground troops to fight ISIS before this is done. In the end, the Siites (Iran) will own the southern reqions of iraq, and whatever ISIS does will determine th e the ownersip of the northern Kurdish ares and Syria. Turkey hates the Kurds, we abandoned the Kurds so many times it's ridiculous, and blaming Obama for what's happeinin there now is like blaming him for 9-11 too..... there is no public US support for defening the ground in Iran, Syria or iraq....
