This has alot of folks very concerned. They think if we go in it will be WWIII. Possibly... I, at the moment, am more concerned with China... They've been awfully quiet this whole time. They know full well they can destroy us without firing a single shot. The moment we go in, they drop every morsel of their dollar reserves. Flooding the market and reducing the value of the dollar by 98% in a matter of days, or at longest, weeks. I'm not concerned with WWIII. Russia and China both have too much to lose. But destroying us finacially would solve all of their problems. This nation would tear itself apart. 2008 was bad? Ha, try $50/Gallon milk, when no one has a job. [/qb]
yeah, and it sounds like Saudi Arabia (the Prince) may have threatened Putin with Cechen rebel attacks too. Obama never should have talked about any red lines. he's going to have to eat those words. but IMO the country can either do this gracefully or we can talk ourselves into WW3. it's all going to hellinabucket, but i talways has been too- i grew up in the big bullseye man. i rode the DC beltway every day for about 15 years of my life. we've been closer to total wipeout than this before. China hardly needs US anymore. at what point does our need for oil make US less useful to them than our debt and consumerism of manufactured goods? [/QB]
