Originally posted by glassman: [QB] there is reason that Congress has no repsecrt or popularity ray, they are the lawmakers, this is the respect the American people have for the Law they represent: Obams is higher, but that is an isuse of personality and not his "lawmakership" how do you expect peopl to respect laws that are based in racism (most drug laws) or are designed to benfit corporations over the people? do you realise that corporations have more rights and are held less accountable for hitr actions than individual people? two corporations can merger (marry) yet two same sex people can't- and i know same sex marriage is outside of religious contexts, but two people should be able to merge legally jsut much two corporations can, but hey can't.. and the law once acted to protect individuals form coproate overlords, but not anymore, that's why gasoline is 3$ a gallon, there is no refining competition anymore... i can go on and on about why 'the law" does not have my respect. I am not whining or complaining, i'm telling you that our governmnt is run by criminals who answer to no-one but he (coporate) media. forget that crap Fox spews, there is no liberal media, it's all huge corporations. and now? we even have a corpate special forces that answers to no-one... they just change their name when they get into too much trouble and re-invent themsleves while they shed their liability - in other words they are immune form t he laws that US mere individuals are not... criminals wrote that set of laws that allow that.
