Well here is something for whats next:

Companies plan massive layoffs as Obamacare becomes reality

Welch Allyn
Welch Allyn, a company that manufactures medical diagnostic equipment in central New York, announced in September that they would be laying off 275 employees, or roughly 10% of their workforce over the next three years. One of the major reasons discussed for the layoffs was a proactive response to the Medical Device Tax mandated by the new healthcare law.
Dana Holding Corp.

As recently as a week ago, a global auto parts manufacturing company in Ohio known as Dana Holding Corp., warned their employees of potential layoffs, citing "$24 million over the next six years in additional U.S. health care expenses". After laying off several white collar staffers, company insiders have hinted at more to come. The company will have to cover the additional $24 million cost somehow, which will likely equate to numerous cuts in their current workforce of 25,500 worldwide.
Stryker
One of the biggest medical device manufacturers in the world, Stryker will close their facility in Orchard Park, New York, eliminating 96 jobs in December. Worse, they plan on countering the medical device tax in Obamacare by slashing 5% of their global workforce - an estimated 1,170 positions.
Boston Scientific
In October of 2009, Boston Scientific CEO Ray Elliott, warned that proposed taxes in the health care reform bill could "lead to significant job losses" for his company. Nearly two years later, Elliott announced that the company would be cutting anywhere between 1,200 and 1,400 jobs, while simultaneously shifting investments and workers overseas - to China.
Medtronic

In March of 2010, medical device maker Medtronic warned that Obamacare taxes could result in a reduction of precisely 1,000 jobs. That plan became reality when the company cut 500 positions over the summer, with another 500 set for the end of 2013.
Others

A short list of other companies facing future layoffs at the hands of Obamacare:
Smith & Nephew - 770 layoffs
Abbott Labs - 700 layoffs
Covidien - 595 layoffs
Kinetic Concepts - 427 layoffs
St. Jude Medical - 300 layoffs
Hill Rom - 200 layoffs

Beyond the complete elimination of a significant number of American jobs is another looming problem created by the health care law - a shift from full-time to part-time workers.

holy clamshells batman.... petraeus resigns for cheating on his wife?

i am left speechless at the moment... this is not the kind of thing one expects from this level of power.... trading that kind or raw power for little nookie? there is much more stank to be sniffed on this trail before the bloodhounds are done...

Something is fishy to me about Petraeus and the timing of it all.

Just saw the interview of the woman he cheated with on the John Stewart Show. She is not bad looking at all for him. I can see what happened, they live together for a long period of time and she becomes psychologically infatuated with him for her book. No idea that the FBI was looking into her, I doubt anyone thought that. Just goes to show you never know.

I just watched the "exit itnerview" of Mccain coming out of the defense intell committee hearing on Petraues and benghazi.

he looked whipped twice, rode hard and put away wet.

that is because this benghazi situation was a classified black op with the intentions of controlling the new govt being formed and somebody got flipped. The meet was off-campus and the Amabassador CHOSE to go there KNOWING full well that he was taking a huge risk. The risk must have been wortht it to HIM, in his opinion. You cannot get ground support and air cover on covert meetings, they are no longer covert when you do that, and we cannot be seen manipulating the new govt.

this situation is terribly sad, between losing an Amabssador and his PRIVATELY contracted security team? The GOP propaganda machine has added to that mess by acting like imbeciles. This is another good reason why i no longer consider myself a GOP. To try to make up a case that the people (as in me and you) "deserve" to know Calissified information, and try to make up a case out thin air that some sort of law has been broken when it has not, is just disgusting.

When i was "in" we had a whole marine barracks get blown up and we did NOTHING! and nodody made poltical hay out of it. Heck, i enlisted while we had hsotages in Iran and we SHOULD have gone in there and cleaned that mess up after they released the hostages. We didn't.
But this particualr case here is hysteria brought on by a bunch of loudmouth chickenhwaks in teh GOP cosnervatives who think they deserve to be written in to a program that is classified. The tail is wagging the GOP dog.
The fact is? If they had come out and laid down all the facts about the benghazi attack? they WOULD have been breaking the law, and not vice versa. Al that i could plainly see on Mccains face when he left the hearing.. plain as sunrise
